Below is a short summary of customer feedback, things I’ve done recently, and links to websites I currently write for.  You may also wish to visit my blog here on AaronTurpen.com, where I write about professional writing.

Recent feedback from clients:

“Aaron did exactly what he said he would. He worked very fast and produced high quality work. The price he charged for the service was outstanding. I will likely work with Aaron again in the future if he is available.” –Anonymous (ghost client)

“Your Lightning story made Digg’s home page .. it’s up there now (and my new server is suffering – old one was slower with DB access but better with high-volume cached requests)” –Sebastian, Zoomilife.com

“Aaron does great work keeping our site updated with the latest news in our niche so that FutureCars can continue to provide quality to our readers.  His feature stories are outstanding.” –John, FutureCars.com

“Since Aaron took over as editor of the Health Freedom Network Newsletter, we’ve seen great compliments from our readers and some beautiful changes to the content, layout, and new ideas in the formatting!”  –Mike N.

Publications:

Our Founding Principles (currently in pre-publication) – A book from Kerodina Press in which I contributed a chapter.  This political book looks at the Tea Party and related political movements in the U.S. from various perspectives.  My personal contribution was analyzing the modern day Committees of Correspondence (blogs, chat rooms, etc.) that organize the movement today.

Survival of the Smartest: The First 72 Hours is an electronic book written by myself in conjunction with Truth2America.com.  It details preparedness for disasters both natural and man-made and how to prepare for them beforehand. It published May 2011 and is now also available in the Amazon Kindle Store.

The Agora National (November, 2010) – a reprint of an article published on NaturalNews.  The magazine will continue to do this and I occasionally re-tool articles for their format.

Checked-In (August 2010) – I received editorial credit for my work on this book.  I worked closely with Craig Agranoff and Herb Tabin from the inception of the book until final printing when the publisher completed the layout and final copy editing.

Confessions of Shameless Internet Promoters (2003) – A book by Debbie Allen, now out of print, in which I contributed a chapter about self-marketing the small business online.

Websites (not my own) where you’ll find me writing regularly:

10w40 – a car repair informational site covering topics like DIY repairs, auto mechanics, and how components of a gasoline or diesel vehicle work.

CannaCentral – a site about medical marijuana where I often cover current news, provide commentary, etc.

FutureCars – information and timely news about the future of automotive transportation, including alt-fuels, electrics, and more.

Health Freedom Network – natural health, wellness, and health freedom are the focus of this website and it’s monthly newsletter.  You may have heard it mentioned on the Coast 2 Coast Radio Network.

NaturalNewsnatural health, natural living, natural news – home of Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, this site is one of the Internet’s premier natural living sources.  I am a citizen journalist here.

The Killer Guides Blog – is a massive multiplayer online role playing game news source where I cover various news and events in the MMORPG genre.  This includes games such as World of Warcraft, Lord of the Rings Online, Rifts, and others.

TorqueNews – an automotive site where I cover several car and truck topics.  I work with some great people here including some other well-known automotive journalists you may recognize.

Truth2America – a preparedness site for those who want to learn to be prepared for disasters both natural and man-made.  I write as “MasterPrepper” there, covering a range of preparedness topics.

I write for other websites on a more occasional basis and my articles are often widely spread throughout the Internet as well. Searching for my name will show you that I am literally all over the Web and have written on a huge number of subjects and in many outlets.  My current focus is on eco-living, green transportation, and free market (libertarian) environmentalism.  You will also find me on my own websites, which cover many topics – all of these sites are listed on the Aaron Meme page.

I ghost-write for many websites, blogs, and other venues on a contract basis. I am currently writing for two blogs focused on social networking and technology, am ghost-writing for a computer-technology magazine, and am writing a series of gardening articles under a pseudonym under a ghost contract for one of the largest organic gardening sites on the Web.

I am generally available for small projects and can usually schedule near-term or longer-term projects as well.  Contact me for information.  You’ll find that I am both reasonable and professional.
